Several new startups have emerged that aim to connect a pipeline of certified students with a targeted curriculum with employers in need of the resulting skills. In this case, NextStep is trying to help help displaced workers retrain for jobs in healthcare. They’ve announced another $3.6 million investment to help them do so. The company reports that students receive the training/education free, all fees are supported by employers.
