UK-based Unlock announced a $2 million Seed Round of venture capital for its app that combines video collaboration and employee engagement via a marketplace offering goods and services for remote teams to share.
Investors love marketplaces, and remote team collaboration and engagement is top of mind these days. But, the jury is still out on whether a marketplace is what will pull employees closer. It’s early days, it will be interesting to see how this one evolves.
