UK-based Temporall announced a USD $1.26 million seed round for its people analytics app that integrates data from across the enterprise to give leaders a view of performance. Temporall reports that it leverages AI to derive insights.
People analytics continues to thrive as a trend and category. Large enterprise employers have more business analyst and IT support for people analytics and leverage purpose-built apps like Visier or have resources leveraging tools like Tableau or Microsoft’s PowerBI. Middle-market employers less consistently have the support of business analysts or dedicated HR IT resources and tend to look for more “in-app” analytics and straight forward export of data to contribute to analysis in tools like Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. While the ability to move data between apps in the HR tech stack is improving, we’ve yet to see the kind of data portability as experienced in other B2B categories. This category is moving fast. Keep an eye on it.
