Stadium, the company behind Snackmagic and Swagmagic, has acquired Confetti, a virtual and hybrid team experience platform. The deal brings Stadium’s recognition, swag, gifting, and global fulfillment business together with Confetti’s live-hosted events under one company. I talked through the deal with Stadium co-founder and CEO Shaunak Amin and Confetti founder and CEO Lee Rubin on the WorkTech Podcast. Watch the full conversation below.

The Problem: Too Many Vendors

Amin said the deal grew out of a pattern he saw across Stadium’s customer base: companies running an average of six separate vendors across recognition, swag, gifting, and team experiences. That spread adds coordination overhead and makes it hard for HR teams to see engagement spend and results in one place.

Confetti brought a different piece to that problem. Rubin said the company has worked with more than 10,000 organizations on live-hosted virtual and hybrid events, but building out global fulfillment and enterprise-level infrastructure on its own would have taken years. Stadium already had that built.

What Changes, and What Doesn’t

Both CEOs were clear that, near term, the two products aren’t merging into one. Confetti keeps its existing team, host network, and booking flow. Contracts, pricing, and points of contact stay the same for now, according to Rubin.

What’s coming is deeper integration between the two platforms over time, connected through APIs. Amin described a future where a customer starting an order on Stadium can add a Confetti event, and a customer booking a Confetti event can add Stadium’s fulfillment for swag or snack boxes, without bringing in a separate vendor.

The Longer-Term Framing

Amin also laid out how he thinks about the category longer term: alongside HR systems and CRM, he wants engagement, meaning recognition, swag, gifting, and experiences together, to become a standard infrastructure layer for enterprises, one most companies don’t yet have a clear vendor for. That’s Stadium’s framing of the opportunity, not a claim about where the market already stands today.

Both Amin and Rubin said LinkedIn is where they’ll be posting updates as the integration progresses. Rubin also said she plans to share more on how Confetti’s role evolves inside Stadium.
