MarketerHire is the latest entry into to the crowded world of freelance marketing marketplace/job boards . With the success of companies like Upwork and Fiverr, entrepreneurs are rushing to enter the market. This is the second seed announcement for a marketing freelance job board just this week.

Differentiation for Marketerhire looks to be on service versus leveraging any technology or sophisticated matching. The initial experience for employers is a Typeform-like survey ending with a “let us know how we can get in touch” form capture. Most of Marketerhire’s competition allows employers to enter a few aspects of what their looking for and then view and filter available freelancers. Marketerhire also stresses the quality of its freelancer vetting process, where they report to use skills reviews, video interviews, and test projects. No word to how quality is achieved, or if there is scale here via tech or automation.

While this category is getting crowded, I do expect to see more entries. Investors love two sided marketplaces.
