Distributed and remote work is now about more than a destination, it’s a lifestyle brand. Coding offsite in Bali? Remote co-working trip for two weeks in Cambodia? That’s the kind of remote work that Outpost inspires with its APAC travel/resort/co-working mashup, and all with reportedly luxurious accommodations.

While HRWins research supports the notion that Distributed Work Is the Future, and companies are getting more and more flexible with options they provide, this just isn’t what most employers we talk to have in mind. Hmmm… market analysis from Bali does sound pretty good, though.
