Hip announced a $12 million Series A round of VC for its commuter benefit app and turnkey employee shuttle service. As companies begin to consider bringing employees back to the office Hip is betting on less willingness of employees to take public transportation and for employers to be filling that gap with their own shuttle service.

Hip connects employers to shuttle providers with route planning, contact tracing, vehicle capacity planning, employer/employee cost sharing, and more.

$5 billion was invested globally in HR technology during 2020. Get the full report here.
