GoContractor announced a $5 million Series A round of venture capital funding for its construction worker onboarding and compliance tech. This brings its total raised to $7.3 million.

We see increasing specialization of HR technology. Industry and vertical market specialization have been differentiators for job board marketplaces and in feature/product bundling for HCM and payroll platforms for years. As the pandemic has accelerated many trends, it’s also speeding the verticalization trend in onboarding and compliance. GoContractor looks to be a good example of this.
