Germany-based Zenjob raised USD $30 million for its job board marketplace that matches students with temporary and contract jobs. They told EU-startups that they plan to use the funds to expand further in Germany and then look to begin international expansion. They consider themselves a “digital staffing service” and claim to place more than 15,000 students per month in logistics, events, retail, and catering. All industries that have been impacted extensively by the COVID-19 crisis, however, they stress their ability to support digital hiring and remote work.
