Garner Health raised $12.5 million for its app that connects employees to high performing doctors. Garner crunches the aggregate data on doctors to identify those that are top performing. Garner data suggests that their top doctors avoid unnecessary procedures and provide better healthcare at a 39% lower cost of care. This provides a better experience for employees/patients and passes cost savings on to employers.
