Brigad raises $6.7 million to expand its on demand interim workforce job board/marketplace beyond the restaurant and hospitality sector.
From FrenchWeb:
In a hotel and restaurant sector where work often rhymes with precariousness, Brigad continues to strengthen in a market where ” supply and demand do not meet “. After raising 3.3 million euros, including 2.2 million in March 2017 , the Paris start-up announced a new round of 6 million euros led by Serena Capital . Leap Ventures and the business angel Jérôme Caille, CEO of House of HR, a Belgian group specializing in the recruitment of engineers, after being world boss of Adecco, also participated in the operation. Founded in November 2015 and then launched in October 2016 by Florent Malbranche, Alexandre Rovetto and Jean Lebrument, Brigad put into orbit a recruitment platform in the hotel and restaurant sector . A concept that has earned the service to be assimilated to an “Uber interim”. The comparison makes all the more sense as the young French push was financially supported by the US VTC platform. Brigad was indeed one of four winners of the “UberPITCH” contest in 2016.
