Calling themselves the “Instagram of learning,” France-based 360 learning has raised a Series B of $41 million USD. Learning continues to be a hot category for HR tech investment. They enter a crowded field of “learning experience platforms” that aim to empower the employee to set their own course for learning, while also creating their own content.
Paris-based workforce engagement platform 360Learning allows leaders and learners to connect and collaborate. The startup aims to become the “Instagram of learning” – on its platform, anyone can create a course, make it look compelling, and share it with their communities of learners.Founded in 2013, 360Learning has just raised €36.5 million in a Series B investment round from Bpifrance, Hi Inov – Dentressangle, XAnge, Educapital, and ISAI.The platform promises to detect, reward and transform 5% of an organisation’s employees into leaders. It provides executives with the tools to deliver a decentralised model of course creation. Learners collaborate in social environments, participate in learning communities, and are actively engaged in the content, because it’s bite-size, collaborative, and fun.
