Fountain is the latest “hiring platform” to raise funds in the increasingly crowded hourly and flex worker category. Fountain claims to process more than 1 million applications to fill 150,000 hourly and gig positions every month for its customers. They repport to have filled more than four million jobs. Fountain’s tech addresses the process from sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, processing background checks, SMS communications, to document signing and onboarding.
We couldn’t find much for differentiation in their website or materials. We expect to see some consolidation in this category in coming months with so much attention on the space from existing and emerging players.
