Emtrain announced an $8 million capital raise. The app looks to combine:
- culture/engagement surveys
- learning engagement (integrated to existing LMS)
- analytics
Their announcement and website tout artificial intelligence that is used to benchmark customer analytics against a global community.
Emtrain is in a crowded field with well-funded emerging leaders like CultureAmp, Lattice, and LinkedIn (Glint). Then, you’ve got platform competitors in talent management with the likes of Cornerstone OnDemand, Skillsoft/SumTotal, and Talentsoft, or in HCM with SAP (Qualtrics), ServiceNow, and Oracle. All focused on consumer-grade experiences, all focused on leveraging AI and analytics to help employers make better decisions/take action.
