Core Founder Membership Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2 January 2026
These WorkTech Core Founder Membership Terms (“Membership Terms”) apply to your purchase and use of the Core Founder Membership for the WorkTech Early‑Stage LaunchPad (the “Membership”). They supplement and form part of the WorkTech Website Terms & Conditions (the “Site Terms” found at https://1worktech.com/terms-and-conditions/ . If there is any conflict between these Membership Terms and the Site Terms, these Membership Terms govern your Membership.
By purchasing or renewing a Core Founder Membership, you agree to these Membership Terms.
1. Eligibility and purpose
- The Core Founder Membership is intended for pre‑Seed and Seed‑stage founders building HR or Work Tech products, and their teams.
- WorkTech (LAROCQUE, LLC) may, at its discretion, decline, cancel, or not renew a Membership it determines is not a fit for the program focus, subject to the refund terms below.
2. Membership scope
The Core Founder Membership provides access to:
- A private, online founder community focused on HR & Work Tech.
- Selected mentors and advisors through community interaction, clinics, and office hours (availability may vary).
- Structured sprints (including GTM and Investor Prep) and related content, templates, and recordings.
- Live and recorded sessions hosted by WorkTech and/or mentors.
WorkTech may update, add, or remove specific features or content over time as the program evolves.
3. Pricing, billing, and term
- The standard price for the Core Founder Membership is 925 USD per year unless otherwise stated on the pricing page at time of purchase.
- Founding Member or promotional rates (for example, 750 USD for the first year using a coupon code) apply only for the initial term described at checkout. Future renewals, if offered, will be billed at the then‑current standard or renewal rate.
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, Memberships are billed annually in advance for a 12‑month term.
You authorize WorkTech and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the applicable Membership fees.
4. Renewal and cancellation
- If auto‑renewal is enabled at checkout or in your account, your Membership will automatically renew for successive one‑year terms at the then‑current renewal rate, and your payment method will be charged unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You may cancel renewal at any time by following the instructions in your account or by contacting WorkTech at the email address on the site. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current term (see Section 5).
If WorkTech discontinues the Membership program entirely, you will be notified and WorkTech will follow any obligations required by applicable law.
5. Refund policy
Unless otherwise required by law or explicitly stated on the checkout page:
- Membership fees are non‑refundable once the Membership term has begun.
- WorkTech may, at its sole discretion, issue partial or full refunds in specific cases (for example, if WorkTech declines a Membership shortly after purchase because it is clearly out of scope).
Any trial periods, guarantees, or exceptions will be clearly described where offered and will override this section for those specific offers.
6. Use of the Membership and community rules
Your Membership is for you and your company’s internal use only.
You agree to:
- Use the community, sprints, and content in a professional and respectful manner.
- Not harass, abuse, or discriminate against other members, mentors, or WorkTech staff.
- Not spam or mass‑solicit members (including unsolicited sales pitches or bulk outreach).
- Respect confidentiality: do not share other members’ or mentors’ proprietary or sensitive information outside the community.
WorkTech may suspend or terminate a Membership, without refund, for serious or repeated violations of these rules or the Site Terms.
7. Mentor interaction and limitations
The Membership includes access to mentors through:
- Community discussions and Q&A.
- Group clinics and/or office hours, primarily with Core Mentors.
You understand and agree that:
- Mentor participation and availability may change over time; WorkTech does not guarantee access to any specific individual or a minimum number of sessions.
- Mentors offer general guidance based on their experience; they are not providing legal, financial, or regulated professional advice.
- You are responsible for your own decisions and actions, including any that rely on or are influenced by mentor input.
Any separate advisory, consulting, or investment relationship you may enter into with a mentor is outside the scope of this Membership and not the responsibility of WorkTech.
8. Intellectual property and content use
Unless otherwise noted:
- All sprints, templates, checklists, recordings, and other materials provided through the Membership are owned by WorkTech and/or its licensors or contributors.
- WorkTech grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use these materials for your internal business purposes only during your Membership term.
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share WorkTech content, recordings, or templates outside your company without written permission.
- Represent WorkTech’s materials as your own proprietary frameworks or products.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Membership, including all content and mentor interactions, is provided “as is” and “as available.” WorkTech does not guarantee any particular outcome, such as fundraising success, revenue growth, partnerships, or media coverage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- WorkTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising from or related to your Membership.
- WorkTech’s total liability for any claim related to the Membership will not exceed the amount you paid for the Membership term during which the claim arose.
Local consumer or other statutory rights may provide you additional protections; these Membership Terms are not intended to limit any rights that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to the Membership Terms
WorkTech may update these Membership Terms from time to time. When changes are material, WorkTech will provide notice (for example, via email or a notice in the member area) and indicate the effective date.
Your continued Membership after the effective date of updated Terms will constitute acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should cancel renewal before your next billing date and discontinue using the Membership.
