Chile-based Buk announced a $50M Series A Round and $417M valuation for its HRIS and Talent Management platform for the SMB. Buk told TechCrunch that they have 4,000 clients with 400,000 employees live on the system, putting its average client size at 100 employees. We’ve been excited to see work tech emerge in South America market over the last few years. This Buk deal and valuation is larger than most core HR investments we’ve seen. Buk is reported to have the third highest valuation of startups in Chile. The deal was led by Greenoaks.
