Bunch announced a $1 million Seed round of venture capital for its AI-powered leadership coach. This brings its total raised to $4.4 million.

Bunch offers vetted and curated “bite-sized chunks” of leadership knowledge and personalizes them for users on a daily basis, aiming to help you “get 1% better every day.”

Bunch told TechCrunch that it pivoted from culture analytics to leadership and coaching in November 2020 and now has grown to 20,000 users. It’s not clear whether these users are paying or not. There’s no pricing on the site, and a free “RSVP” is promoted. Along with coaching, Bunch still lists a hiring assessment and culture analytics on its website for businesses.

It’s early for Bunch and as they continue their foray into work tech it will be interesting to see where they end up. Coaching and mentoring is a category getting a considerable amount of attention.

$1.4 billion was invested in talent management-related HR technology globally in 2020. Get the free full report, here.
