Financial wellness is one of several components in the emerging Employee Total Wellbeing category, which we explored in the HR Federation 2020 HCM Trends Report. Wellbeing is increasingly an important part of the employee experience, but like everything in HR and HR tech – one size doesn’t fit all. It’s important to first craft your employee experience and total wellbeing strategies and priorities, based on your culture and employee’s needs. The financial wellness strategy for your employee demographics may be unique even across your departments or geographies. Your employee total wellbeing strategy may be more or less focused on financial wellness education and your company culture may or may not be in alignment with offering financial products to employees.
