Brazil-based Zenklub has raised USD $3.07 Million to offer its mental wellness app to employers. The app connects individuals to psychologists for video, voice, or chat sessions. In the U.S. and around the world experts are warning of a rising mental health crisis during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Mental wellness is an increasing focus for employers and a component of overall employee wellbeing that continues to rise in adoption. Apps like Zenklub may see further adoption post-COVID-19 as a result. We’re also seeing increased interest in Employee Assistance Programs that have a digitized interface due to the same factors.
