GO1 is what looks like a fairly traditional learning management system (LMS) model in the cloud. Providing a marketplace of courses for skills and compliance from the usual catalogs of content providers, integrating into the HCM tech stack, and providing tools for the enterprise to create its own content, and extend learning into personal development along with the professional. It’s a model that exists across the landscape of e-learning and talent management.

While on the surface GO1 doesn’t look to be highly differentiated, there’s always room for well-executed business strategy and go-to-market tactics. GO1 cites 3,000 customers and user growth at 5X over the last five months. The firm reports to TechCrunch that it is integrated with Microsoft Teams. Microsoft has also participated in this funding round via its M12 venture arm. Also joining were interesting corporate funds like Salesforce, who is a strategic investor and integrating its own content to Go1, and SEEK who has invested across the HR tech landscape in Australia.
