Australia-based Employment Hero Raises USD $34.8 Million for Its Payroll and HRIS Platform

Australia-based Employment Hero announced a USD $34.8 million Series D round of VC, bringing its total raised to $62.7 million. Employment Hero is a talent-focused HRIS, putting emphasis on career management and transitions from onboarding through core HRIS and performance management. 

In 2020 there was $5 billion invested in HR technology globally, with $2.6 billion invested in the HCM category and looking even more narrowly, about $500 million invested in core HR/HRIS – most of it for the middle market.
