Germany-based coachhub is the latest marketplace app to streamline the connections between professional coaches with leaders and high performers. They’ve raised USD $6.7 Million to expand more rapidly in Europe (read: before BetterUp lands more extensively).
Leaders and HiPos having a coach isn’t new. One of the original professional side gigs is that of the “executive or business coach.” In fact, a robust cottage industry of freelancers, solo-preneurs, and small businesses has grown to a reported 53,000 coaches globally.
Begs the question: if the leadership and engagement challenges we have today have grown during a time when the coaching industry grew to 53,000 providers globally, will streamlining those connections via a marketplace fix the problems?
