Spot raised a $1.7 million Seed round of venture capital for its hybrid work platform, positioned as “Sims for the enterprise.” The post-COVID return to the office has resulted in the funding of several workplace planning, safety, and hybrid work supporting startups.

Spot was started by the founders of Outreach, a high-growth sales and marketing tech unicorn. The app allows customers to create a virtual world for their enterprise, connecting teams and resources together. CEO and founder told GeekWire that “In the future, we plan on creating a true digital world that connects teams to each other both inside and outside of their organizations.”

$2.7 billion was invested globally in work tech during 2021 Q1 alone. Get WorkTech’s free report and analysis here.
